AAHA – American Animal Hospital Association
We are a member of the AMERICAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION (AAHA) and adhere to strict requirements for quality of care as well as participate in comprehensive inspections. Approximately 15% of small animal practices in the United States are AAHA-accredited. During the evaluation, we are asked to meet 46 mandatory standards and to address about 900 other standards of care.
ASPCA – Animal Poison Control
This is an excellent resource for any animal that has a poison-related emergency. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is a fee to use the service. You will be given a case number which will allow you or any veterinarian access to the information and treatment recommendations. The ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center provides a helpful quick reference list of common plants that are known to be poisonous to pets.

Ohio State University – Indoor Pet Initiative
This website discusses the wellness and behavioral needs of dogs and cats. Items discussed include behavior, environmental enrichment, and other helpful information. A lot of information can be useful in treating and avoiding inappropriate urination and defecating.
