Services

Anesthesia - We utilize human grade anesthetics including Propoflo and Sevoflurane gas anesthesia for our surgeries and procedures.  Every anesthetic protocol is adjusted based on the individuals situation and health status.  We do not believe in a “one size fits all” mentality especially when anesthesia is involved.  All anesthetized animal are monitored by a veterinary assistant monitoring equipment during the surgery or procedure to help insure patient safety.

Bathing – Routine or therapeutic bathing can be performed by special request.

Boarding – We offer year round boarding for cats and dogs.  All boarding individuals must be current on required vaccinations.

Dentistry – We provide routine dentistry procedures for overall oral health.  Routine dentistry includes ultrasonic scaling, polishing with a prophy paste, fluoride application, and a sealant to help prevent further tartar and calculus.  We provide tooth extractions, digital dental radiographs, and oral surgery if indicated.

Dietary Counseling – General nutrition is the most important aspect of keeping your pet healthy during their various life stages.  We offer prescription diets when indicated for specific diseases or illnesses.

Dog Training Classes – We offer general puppy and teenage classes that focus on puppy training and socialization with other dogs and people.  Three levels of agility training classes are offered.  They consist of beginner, intermediate, and advanced stages based on handler and animal abilities and experience.

Drop Off Appointments – Patients may be dropped off during the day for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic testing.  Please schedule in advance.

Emergency Care – We offer emergency care any time during normal business areas.

Flea Control Programs – We have a variety of flea control products that can be used to individualize a treatment protocol specific for your situation and environment.

Laboratory Testing – We provide in-house laboratory facilities for blood counts, serum chemistry testing, urinalysis, and cytology results.  We also provide full laboratory diagnostics through a commercial laboratory.

Laser Surgery –The laser can be used to alleviate pain and bleeding by cauterizing the nerve endings and blood vessels.  The laser is highly beneficial when used with declaws, oral masses, and rectal masses.

Microchipping – The microchip is a mall device that is slightly larger than a grain of rice and is implanted beneath the skin over the shoulder blades.  The microchip can be implanted anytime or at the time of surgery.  The microchip allows your pet to find his/her way home if lost.  Humane Societies, animal control, and veterinary hospitals across the country have scanners that can detect the number of the microchip to then be tracked to the owner.

Pharmacy – We offer a complete inventory of medications, shampoos, joint care, and flea and heartworm prevention.

Radiology Services – Radiographs can be performed in house while you are waiting.  We offer radiographs to be read by a boarded radiologist when indicated.  We use digital radiographs for dental procedures.

Surgical Services – Our dedicated surgical suite allows us to perform routine surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and declaws.  We also provide advanced surgical procedures including stone or mass removals, gastrointestinal surgeries, splenic surgeries, and other soft tissue surgeries.

Ultrasound Services – The ultrasound is a great non-invasive diagnostic test to evaluate the internal organs including the heart, liver, spleen, kidneys, intestines, and urinary bladder.  The ultrasound has the ability to detect organ disease without starting with surgery.
